South West Lancs Budgerigar Society is a Society for Budgerigar Breeders, enthusiasts and Exhibitors in the heart of the Northwest (St Helens, Warrington, Wigan and surrounding areas). We have members who regularly attend meetings who travel from the Liverpool and Manchester regions due to our ideal and central location.

 New members are always made welcome and offered every assistance.

Our Club meetings are held in the Community Centre, Padgate , Warrington, WA2 OQS.
Meetings start at 8pm and are held on the 2nd thursday of the month.

South West Lancs Budgerigar Society was formed when the late Bill Scarisbrick and Stan Wilcox decided that after St. Helens BS folded there was still a need for a Society in the local area.
After a slow start the society started to grow and quickly established itself on the show circuit as a quality championship show.

Sadly the clubs membership went into a decline towards the latter end of the last decade and after a move of venue to our current home at Padgate Community Centre the membership and society is now flourishing.

The Club can happily boast that we now have a membership of 40 which seems to grow each and every month! If you want to see what all of the fuss is about please feel free to come and join us at one of our meetings!
